This Privacy Policy by the Escondido Auto Park (“The Escondido Auto Park,” “our,” “we”) and applies to all users, complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”).

  • You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Where this Privacy Policy refers to “Personal Information” it is referring to data about you (or other living people) from which you could be identified as defined in Civil Code sections 1798.80(e), and 1798.140(o)(1) including “identifiers”, such as your name, email address, telephone number, your contact details and any other information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household or individual. We are not responsible for, and do not collect, Personal Information you provide directly to third parties, including Dealerships. 

The categories of Personal Information that we have used, transferred, exchanged, or disclosed including servicing your account and providing you customer service during the past 12 months includes the Personal Information you provided to us via our Website using email and online forms.   

The CCPA provides certain rights for California consumers.  If you are a consumer residing in California, you may ask us about the information we release to other organizations for their business and commercial purposes, as detailed below. 

HOW WE COLLECT AND USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

If you choose to complete the Escondido Auto Park’s online form in the “Contact Us” section of our Website, you will be asked to supply Personal Information.  If you choose to do so, that information will be forwarded to the Dealership you select using the online form.  The Dealership to which Personal Information is sent using our Website may use this information to target specific users with occasional emails informing you about commercial services provided by, and offers from, that Dealership and other third parties.  Further information regarding use of your Personal Information by Dealerships can be obtained by contacting the individual Dealership, and to the extent that Dealership posts a privacy policy on its individual website, can be viewed therein.   

The Escondido Auto Park will never use your data for anything beyond the reason stated and the permissions you grant us, to alter the emails which you receive from Dealerships, including unsubscribing from all email communications, please follow the links on any email communication you receive or contact the individual Dealership(s). 

Purpose

The purpose of Escondido Auto Park’s collection of Personal Information is for Commercial Purposes (defined in the CCPA as “a means to advance a person’s commercial or economic interests, such as by inducing another person to buy, rent, lease, join, subscribe to, provide, or exchange products, goods, property, information, or services, or enabling or effecting, directly or indirectly, a commercial transaction), customer service, website content personalization, system administration, technology management (including optimizing our websites and applications), information security and cybersecurity purposes, including detecting threats and our Everyday Business Purposes. 

“Everyday Business Purposes” encompasses the Business Purposes (as defined in the CCPA) and following related purposes for which personal information may be used:

  • To provide the information, product or service requested by the individual or as reasonably expected given the context in which the Personal Information was collected.

Change of Purpose.

Please note that to the extent we provide links to third party websites that are not affiliated with The Escondido Auto Park such sites are out of our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy, regardless of whether they use our branding or logo on their websites. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

Data Retention
