Once upon a time, the Ford Bronco was one of the most popular vehicles in Ford’s lineup during the late 1960s through the 1980s. However, demand for the Bronco model declined in the early 1990s and Ford ultimately discontinued this SUV after the 1996 model year. However, now it’s a different time and everyone wants to know, “When Will the 2021 Ford Bronco Be Available to Order?”

Since then, many Ford enthusiasts have spent years hoping for a re-release of the beloved Ford Bronco—and their dreams finally came true when Ford announced that the Bronco would be back on the mainstream auto market for the 2021 model year. Since Ford announced that the Bronco would be rejoining their vehicle lineup beginning in 2021, the auto industry has been abuzz with news, hype, and speculation surrounding the release of this legendary SUV.

However, not much was known for certain about the Ford Bronco until it finally made its virtual debut on July 13, 2020 on Ford’s official website.

About the 2021 Ford Bronco

For the 2021 model year, Ford will be releasing a full family of Bronco models that includes a two-door Bronco, a four-door Bronco, and a Bronco Sport that is available in four different series. This expansion of the Bronco lineup gives Ford drivers plenty of options to choose the Bronco—or Bronco Sport—that best accommodates their driving needs and lifestyle.

First looks at the 2021 Ford Bronco model following its July 13th debut suggest that the Bronco will be a vehicle that prioritizes off-roading. All 2021 Broncos will be built with EcoBoost turbocharged engines and 4×4 capabilities with all-terrain tires. The functional body-on-frame design of the classic Bronco features easily removable roof panels and doors, which gives drivers more freedom to really experience the thrill of the outdoors while off-roading in their Bronco SUV.

The functional, classic design of the all-new 2021 Bronco pays homage to this SUV’s long, legendary history on the mainstream auto market. However, its rugged and capable exterior brings its own modern flair that gives the Bronco a much-needed upgrade for the present.

The all-new Bronco will hit the market decked out with all the advanced tech and safety features that will help it compete with other top models on the modern auto market. It is also built with an easy-clean interior that includes rubberized washable floors with integrated drains to make clean-up easy—even after a day of wild off-roading over rough terrains. Inspired by that of the first-gen Bronco from the 1960s with a modern twist, the center instrument panel of the 2021 Bronco is built to be functional and—most importantly—user-friendly and intuitive for drivers.

Overall, the 2021 Bronco will be a high-performing SUV that remains true to its unique classic style with enough modern twists to keep this model relevant on the current mainstream auto market.

When Will the 2021 Ford Bronco Be Available to Order?

Now that the 2021 Ford Bronco has made its virtual debut, many Ford drivers are itching to know when this legendary SUV will be available to order. If you’re among these eager drivers, you’ll be glad to know that you can reserve your 2021 Bronco as early as today.

All you have to do is go to Ford’s official website, choose the 2021 Bronco model you want, select your preferred official Ford dealership, and put down a $100 down payment.

In December of this year (2020), Ford will give those who have reserved a 2021 Bronco model the option to convert their reservation into a genuine order with the official Ford dealership of their choice.

One important thing to note is that the highest trim level of the 2021 Bronco—the First Edition Bronco—was already fully reserved by the end of July 14th—just one day after the 2021 Bronco debuted on Ford’s website. For the time being, First Edition Bronco models are unavailable to reserve.

However, on July 21st, barely a week after the initial debut of the 2021 Ford Bronco, Ford announced that they would be doubling their original planned production quantity

of the 2021 Bronco First Edition models—so keep checking back on Ford’s website, because more First Edition models might be available for reservation in the near future.

When Will the 2021 Ford Bronco Be Delivered?

If you’ve got your heart set on a 2021 Ford Bronco, you might be disappointed by how long you have to wait to actually get yours delivered. When preliminary reservations for the 2021 Bronco and Bronco Sport opened up on Ford’s website, the sheer volume of people who tried to access the site caused the entirety of Ford’s website to crash temporarily. That crash goes a long way to show just how immense the demand for the 2021 Bronco has already been.

Ford plans to send out the first round of 2021 Broncos for delivery by mid-2021. However, rumors are already swirling that—based on Ford’s current production plans and the incredible demand for the 2021 Bronco—many customers might not actually receive the 2021 Bronco they ordered until 2022 is well underway.

However, there is always the possibility that Ford will expand their production plan in the near future in order to get all pre-ordered Bronco models delivered in a more timely manner.

If you’ve already reserved your 2021 Bronco or are planning to reserve one, it’s important to be patient and flexible. Only time will tell exactly when you’ll actually get your hands on the legendary 2021 Bronco you reserved. Contact Gosch Ford located in the Escondido Auto Park for more info on how to reserve yours.
